Welcome to SLKWorld.com: The #1 Mercedes-Benz SLK Forum!

First please update your location & vehicle (model?: 32, 43, 200, 230, 250, 280, 300,320,350,55) in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information if you haven’t. This takes about 30 seconds to do.

Follow exactly to update: ‘Usercp’ at the top of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘vehicle’. Info in your garage does not update your profile.

Join the gang! Your 1st thread should be your introduction so we can welcome you properly so post an introduction in the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section. New Members Introduce Yourself Here - Mercedes Benz SLK Forum

Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.

What's wrong with your units? Not many headlamp washers were fitted, if I'm honest, but if they are then depending on what's wrong, like as not someone here would have found a fix. I stripped and cleaned mine which worked wonders (no further trouble) so give us some more info about your problem and we can try and help!

Morning all, thanks for reply. the problem is blocked jets.Water pressure from the pump, blows the jets off the plastic pipes.
The jets fitted look like sealed units. Are they repairable, and how do you take them apart ??

I don't think they are repairable. If they are blocked can you not try and force water the wrong way with a tube on the top and hose pipe. Perhaps leave them soaking in some Milton overnight may help first and/or some thin wire to poke them clear. Dronsfield in Oldham break a lot of Mercedes and may have some good used items on the shelf.
