Hi i was wonder does anyone know any good places to buy transmission oil part# 001-989-68-03-13 i was quoted 27.11 a quart at my local mercedes benz dealer thank you. i am located in the united states

Find one of these locally if you can, http://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/236.14_en.html . They are all MB spec. for the 722.9 7sp AT. The invoice cost for the MB oil for my trans repair was $18.50 9 months ago.
so it will be fine to mix it with the oem fluid that is still in the transmission because i am only doing a drain and fill not a flush unless i can find a way to change the filter with it. thanks for the info

That is my understanding. As long as it meets MB spec. "My" dealership only does a drain/remove pan, weir tube(look it up) & filter/replace all of the above; they DO NOT do a total flush/replace. You should drop the pan and replace the filter and weir tube. Leaving a dirty filter is much worse than leaving the other 5-6 qt of fluid/oil in the trans.
