I moved to the Grand Strand area a few years ago and have been on a search for a service garage that is familiar with the SLK. I did find a very reputable place in North Myrtle beach recently - the mechanic who serviced my '04 SLK had experience servicing BMW's and was able to diagnose the problem quickly.
However, I would love to find a place where the SLK is more of a specialty. If anyone has knowledge of such a place along the Grand Strand ( anywhere between Wilmington, NC and Georgetown, SC), I would love to find out about it. Many thanks.

Welcome from the Lowcountry. I have had my SLK for one year now, but it has not needed a mechanic. My one issue was a malfunctioning pedal sensor, which I was able to diagnose and replace myself. Good luck.
