How come this forum for OC peeps is inactive with no replies since 2008? Does this mean that OC SLK Owners go to the dealer all the time?

Where is a good dealer alternative in OC?
1. MB Class Motors in Laguna Niguel.

Dealer
1. Foothill Ranch - relatively new so service is quiet good, and they offer discounts (Only $109.95 for an "A" Service and Only $239.95 for a "B" Service )

Can you add to the list of quality repair shops/ dealers in OC?

Thanks!

pinkus,

Welcome from Valrico, Florida!
And welcome to this great forum!

Please update your vehicle (model and year) in your profile as it helps the members answer any questions you might have based on your location and model and year.
‘Usercp’ at the top left of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘vehicle’.

You might want to post an introduction in the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section, if you haven’t already.

If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before.
In addition, if you haven’t, please post your question in the appropriate discussion forum for a quicker response. Be patient and a knowledgeable member or guest will address your question.

Thank you,

Go to DA import specialist in laguna niguel. Etyu recommended them to me, and I took my 55 there and service was good. Don't know if they do any body repair stuff though.

OP was asking about body shop. The only one I know of is Prestige, an MB certified repair shop but have no personal experience, hence the lack of recommendation. And I am not sure about a "good" price.

Dealership-wise, MB of Laguna Niguel is where I usually go (as car is still under warranty). They are the same owners as the Foothill Ranch dealership. IIRC, management stated they opened the Foothill Ranch as a strategic move because of its location.

Independent MB shop is D.A. Import Specialist, 27972 Forbes Road., Units F and G, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677, 949-364-0954. Jack is the son and a certified MB and BMW technician, knowledgable with more modern MB and they have SDS. George is the father and specializes in the classic MB cars, esp restoration.

Thanks! D.A. Import Specialist reviews found on the net are the best. They seem to have a best reviews out there for a repair shop. I'll try them out if their prices are significantly cheaper than a dealer.
