Playing Poker While Touring
Skagit & Whatcom County Countryside!
Leave Starbucks Madison Park 8:30am
Meet Mt Vernon 10am
Here’s the plan:
We will begin our tour from the Rexville Grocery in Mt. Vernon @ 10am. Joyce & Stuart, the owners are looking forward to our arrival. Anyone who lives closer to Mr. Vernon, or that just wants to go directly to the Rexville Grocery, please do so and enjoy breakfast, coffee, a muffin, or any of their delectable goodies. Val will be there @ 9am. When everyone is gathered you will receive your first Poker card (everyone can play) and navigational route instructions that include questions (these are answered by the car team) about the tour that will garner you a prize in the end if you have the highest score. There are several fun filled stops on our route and then lunch in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham.
->We will leave Rexville Grocery @ 10:30am.
The various stops along our journey include:
2nd Card: Padilla Bay Interpretive Center and Estuary www.padillabay.gov
