As you soon will notice, I 'm not a native speaker/wirter in your language, so sorry for my errors and mistakes.

As said in the title, I live in TheNetherlands, age >60 years and hopefully soon te be retired.
My car history goes from Germany (BMW2002, in the early '70s), to England (Triumph Spitfire, 2x), to Japan (Mazda 929Coupe, Toyota's (from Corolla, Celica 2x and LancCruiser FRP 2x) and back to Germany (a very maltreated VW Polo 2001)
Actually I was looking for a Chrysler Crossfire but I was told more than once this wasn't a good idea due to the lesser quality. They pointed me at the SLK series from MB. In appearance the same but better built. To be honest, I never was a big fan of MB (no offence ), I always thought they were too big.. Except for the SLK, (K stands for Kompakt).
To cut a long story... now I own a SLK200 R171, Black, 2009, for about 2 months and cann't wait for the next summer.
I hope to learn from you about the do's and don'ts, tips and tricks... and so on..

ps: picture was taken during the testdrive.
