Hi folks,

I had to trade my beloved SLK in today after an injury has made me unable to drive it. My loss is your gain. I have two 09 facelift Audio 20 units for sale:

A code 510 unit with the 6-disk integrated CD changer and MOST fiber connections. I also have a bluetooth antenna and the antenna splitter for this one. Regrettably, I didn't have time to remove the microphone or AUX cable from the car to make it a complete kit.

A code 523 unit without the integrated CD changer or MOST fiber connections. I ordered this one as a mistake not realizing it didn't have the fiber connections, so I've never even unboxed it except to verify I didn't get sold a box of bricks. I have an extra antenna splitter for this one, but didn't order any other extra cables.

Let me know what you think is a fair price for each unit. The 510 was running in my SLK280 for a couple of months; I took pictures that show it is installed and working. I paid about $500 for the 510 unit and $350 for the 523 unit. The cable sets cost me another $50 or so.

Just PM or email me with an offer.

Thanks for your consideration.

These units are still unsold. I understand that I probably won't get back anything near what I paid for them. Just looking for any reasonable offer at this point.

Can the 510 be used for telephone talking and/or streaming music from my phone via bluetooth?? I really don't need GPS navigation, I enjoy getting lost... but I do like handsfree phone talking when the top's up, and I do like carrying my music around in my pocket.

The 510 and 523 both have integrated bluetooth. They can pair with any bluetooth phone and support the full range of bluetooth telephony functions including dialing, phonebook, call lists, etc. The only thing it doesn't support is streaming music, but I don't think any of the MB head units for our cars support streaming bluetooth (I may be wrong about that; I've never used the COMAND NTG 2.5). However, you can add an AUX-IN cable for a few dollars. That's what I had on my setup. On these units it's a simple connector on the back unlike the pre-facelift Audio-20 where you have to open it up and solder one on to the motherboard.

Hey there. I am pretty new to the Mercedes world. I have a 2006 with no bluetooth or navigation. Would what you are selling fix that?

Bluetooth, absolutely yes. Navigation, no. For Navigation, you have to go up to the NTG 2.5 head units which run at least $1500, if you can find one. For example:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-SLK-Class-W171-R171-Comand-APS-NTG2-5-sat-nav-6-DVD-CHANGER-navigation-/251147715236?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3a799202a4

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nachrusten-R171-SLK-COMAND-NTG2-5-mit-Allem-/400008149194?pt=Technik_Auto_Hi_Fi_Navigation_Einbau_Navigationssysteme&hash=item5d2257f8ca

These are the only ones listed right now. One is $2k US and the other is $2.5K. I've seen them cheaper (hence my statement about $1500), but none are on eBay at that price as I post this. I believe the dealership charges even more (Jeff, et. al., please correct me on that point if I am mistaken).
