The other day, it itched my curiosity to know how well SLK fares on the "moose test" and, much to my surprise, I couldn't find any sensible result neither for my own car (R171 350 facelift) nor basically for any other SLK.

I found results for everything from SUVs to supercars, but nothing relevant for our cars... was it just my lack of google-foo or is something else?

Regards!

A Swedish magazine has tested SLK 200 2007 and an AMG 55 2007
The 200 passed with 72 km/h and the AMG 55 at 71.
They are both above average :)

My def of moose test

The evasive manoeuvre test (Swedish: Undanmanöverprov; colloquial: moose test or elk test; Swedish: Älgtest, German: Elchtest) is performed to determine how well a certain vehicle evades a suddenly appearing obstacle.

Yes, that's the definition, but the thread you linked doesn't offer any reference to that test (or I jumped over it without noticing).

I was refering to a standard test and their values, i.e.:
(sorry: it's in Spanish)

Top car is a 1999 Citroën Xantia Activa V6. Not surprised. I had one and it was brilliant - till it just stopped working. Early computer stuff.
