Hello,

We are hiring an SLC 250 for an upcoming road trip in Italy and the one thing I may have overlooked is boot space (with the roof down and therefore the cover in place). No one at Mercedes can tell me the dimensions and I can't find them online.

The main bag I am worried about (because it is hard) is sized 22.7” x 14.7” x 9.6”.

If anyone can assist it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, A

Welcome ajmarten86,

You'll have no problem. I have two rigid cases which are each slightly bigger than those dimensions and both will fit in the boot of my SLK with the cover down (with roof down).

I'm almost certain the SLC has the same capacity.

Have a good one.

SLC bootspace

I have a 250 SLC
You can easily get two cabin bag size bags in the boot with space around
There also is space behind the seats unless you very tall this takes some hanging space

We have had at least a week away and we have plenty of space

It does however make you plan to take what you “need” and not just what you want
If careful you can get enough in the car soft case do tend to squeeze better that hard cases

The lift out boot floor is reversible allowing either more space above or below. Well it is on SLK's.
Also can store small items on floor behind passenger seat more so if passenger not tall & likes seat a shade forward, ditto drivers side.
Fitting a large net across existing pouch on firewall between seats allows for storage of small items such as hats, sun for the shading of!
Again a duplicate net on the drivers side for small items.
