Sirius Question

Just got a used 2007 SLK 280.

Datacard says there's a Sirius radio (Code 536 / SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO COMPLETE SYSTEM). Have the little antenna on the trunk with one wire coming out of it. Have a black plastic box on the left side in my trunk.

But my Audio 20 display doesn't have the "SAT" softkey shown in the manual. When playing an FM station, all I get is "AM/WB/SC/AC".

What am I missing?

Having read this after your post about the CDC I would say your MOST ring is open. Either because the CDC or the satelite receiver is broke. Or the optical MOST ring itself is open/damaged somwheret. That is something that has to be diagnosed. Again read the audio document referred to in the CDC thread.

Still don't have the Sirius unit working, but all the activity has moved to the sister post here. Might be mislabeled, but now focusing on troubleshooting a MOST ring problem. Any help appreciated!
