Had an excellent experience with Silver Star Worldwide Auto Repair last Friday on my 32... A coworker with an E55 recommended them to me.

The guy at Silver Star is very knowledgeable and explained everything he saw that needed attention on my newly acquired vehicle. He even pointed out the things that the dealer said I need to replace/repair and said they are not serious items and will need to be replaced down the road, but not quite needed yet.

He sticks by his quotes and listened to all my concerns, and kept me up to date via phone that day while I was in the office as I requested.

The car next to mine while on the lift was a gorgeous S55 AMG and a couple other AMGs out in the parking lot made me feel like others trusted him too.

I had a list of preventative maintenance done to my car by him that day, including transmission flush, power steering fluid, brake fluid, radiator flush, change fuel filter, replace transmission fluid plug that was leaking, diagnose a clicking noise in engine during idle, and overall mechanical inspection.

Dropped off the car Monday morning at 8:00, got a call at noon saying it was ready for pick up. Total came to just under $540.

Overall, if you are in Volusia County, and your MB is out of warranty, I would highly recommend Silver Star.

Best in town

I have been dealing with Lonnie at Sliver Star for the past ten years have always been treated fair. I have bought 3 Mercedes from his Dad before he retired, when he had the car lot across the street. Lonnie has some very good mechanics working for him and he is the most knowledgeable person in Daytona area other then his Dad. I would send my Mother and anybody else there for any car repairs.
I just bought a 2001 SLK 230. I had brakes replaced all the way around, both serpentine belts replace, both interior door panel repair where they come unglued as we all know and a synthetic oil change for under $650.00. Oh yes and he put the car on the computer and ran a complete check. I need my alarm horn replaced or new battery will have that done Tuesday.

5 Stars for Sliver Star. :burnout:

I, too, have had good luck with Silver Star on my amg; including major service on Lexus rx400h for approx. half the price Lexus dealer would have charged.
