I keep mine kinda dusty (except for rare occasions, see recent posts in What you did today with your SLK). Dusty cars don't get broken into or stolen as often. There are not SLKs here, and these are not the cars you are looking for.People tend to avoid leaning against dirty cars.
And if they do scratch the paintwork you can nab them with dust proof.

Got My SLK back for 2 hours today from Classic Collision Buckhead. Enough to take pictures and drive it to Mercedes of Buckhead for annual service.

I realized tonight that we don't have a 'stuck' thread on pictures of user's cars. So why not post up a picture of your SLK!

In case I didn't say Welcome, welcome from Atlanta. Nice beauty you got there, I am biased with the R171 though.
This is a unique angle, very original.
Did you get rid of the '97 OR do you have both now? Please update your profile with your current fleet of SLK'sPicked this one up earlier this month.
Barely got this 2 in and I'm ready to rock. You could always use the traditional British sports car solution for lack of boot space and fit a (removable) boot rack.
Mind you, even without sacrificing the underfloor boot space in the SLK32 AMG, there's a surprising amount of space with the roof up:

All fitted easily, with enough space left for a jacket etc.:

I don't normally travel with that amount of luggage - I was merely checking how much space there actually was!
Anchors Away....
I sure did and the top doesn't come down during mobilization, thinking about some sort of luggage mount from the outside. Love the Midway in San Diego such a great ship.I am impressed that you were able to stow both away. Did you hot bunk with the aluminum?
My father flew off the Midway back in the late 40's when she was still a straight deck. On board for the V2 launch and the Med cruise.
