When you pick up your pride and joy
after it having it serviced, ask yourself,
" I wonder if they did everything" ?
Here's just one reason I do as much of
my own work as possible.

That's awful... I'll be collecting my SLK soon and I've been told it was serviced recently. It's not that I don't trust the dealer, but I'm going to send the Green Beauty to another garage just to be sure that the previous one didn't miss anything...

P.S. Did they charge for the filter? ;-)

That's not from my car, I learned my lesson many
moons ago.The service had been "done" or should
I say the owner had been done, a couple of months
ago but the owner asked me to check over a couple
of items so I pulled the cabin filter knowing that it tends
to be something the poor old punter wouldn't be inclined
to check.
This is just meant as a heads up to the more trusting.
