I have just done the C-service on my SLK r171 2009 (after facelift)
It was according to my local merc dealer (after some discussion)
Oli and filter,
Air filter,
and spark plugs.

I am now looking to prepare for later services and have used a very clever app to translate the text in my German manual.
On the side I scanned there must be a mistake. It says air filter chane after 4 years but also after 80000 and 100000 km.

The rest of the service I think I understand.

According to my (German) manual the service is like this
I have ignored som checks that I feel I do continiously.

25000km
Check Winscreen wipers and stuff
Check brakes (fluid pads and disks)

50000
Check brakes (fluid pads and disks)
Check Winscreen wipers and stuff
Check Power steering oil level

Every service (every year)
Oil and oil filter (15000km)

Every second service
Brakefluid change.

Every 3 years
Cooling fluid change

Every 4 years 80000km
Air filter
Spark plugs

Thanks for the help so far!

I have read that but when You have all the different systems in the same thread it is a very big amount of info.
I just did the C-service and the next (according to the indicator) is A.
I think I will go after the years, I guess we will drive so little that the mileage wont come in to play.

it usually goes

A B A C A B

which equates to time/mileage with 'major' service at B & C like brake fluid, trans service etc

Yes, just as on the Smart Roadsters I had.
I am more interested in what needs to be serviced. How often do I change, for example, the fuel filter?
