Seat Weight Limit?

I have an 2003 SLK32 (owned for 5 years. I'm the 4th owner) and the one thing that was driving me nutty was that the seat would move towards the door whenever a took a curve to the right at a decent speed. The seat mounting bolts were tight so I took it to my Indy mechanic and he said the seat frame was cracked. Mercedes doesn't sell the frame anymore and non of their sources had it. So I took the car back and started searching. Found a used seat frame on Ebay, removed the driver's seat and swapped the frames. Actually when I took the old one out I saw that a bolt was missing on the old frame so I was sure this would solve the problem. And it did, for a while (few months)... but now the seat is starting to move again.

My indy made a comment to me last week that he doesn't know how I fit in the car. I'm 6'4" and 290 lbs. It is a bit claustrophobic with the roof closed but fine with the roof down. And so it got me thinking. I love that SLK is a small car but are the seats made for smaller folks? Could I just be too big (heavy) for the car and perhaps I cracked the replacement seat frame too?

Most (all?) nuts and bolts need to be torqued to specific settings and if they're not......
And many including the seat bolts are single use.
A thought occurs however. Is it the frame moving or the seat squab? I've had problems in the past securing the squab with the frame in situ. It's easy enough if the whole thing is out of the car but trying to fit the squab to the frame when the frame is bolted down can be a challenge.
