Joe
Also I had the same problem (1.83 meter is my height)
But after 3 days of setting , i discovered that the seats can go down
My suggestion is put down seat, and after back.... and save the confortable position in Memories...

I think there is some protection built into the system.
Sometimes i put my seat back to get out and the backrest will move forward to avoid hitting the bulkhead.
The electric seats have some "anti-collision" against rear bulkhead feature. As Francesco stated, bring the seat to its lowest position (both front and back part of the seat bottom section needs to be at their lowest detente) then try moving it backwards. It should move rearwards closer to the bulkhead than when the seat bottom is at a more elevated setting.
Watch out for rubbing noise when the seat back rubs against the bulkhead during a drive.
