Yesterday, I replaced my all four original shocks (@140k km) with sachs, trusting that sachs is oem supplier. Now after replacement I am not happy with the results. I will get the wheels alinged tomorrow but as soon as I got in to the car it felt softer and having more body roll even at very slow speeds which I believe wont change much after alingment. Also feels like the ride is higher. What else can make such a big change all of a sudden? I was looking for a stiffer ride after replacement

I start thinking that the part numbers are false. And checking on the net i see that sachs has one part number (one for front and one for rear, eg. front 125-364) for preFL and FL, while OEM has different. Is there a stiffness/spec difference between PreFL and FL oem shocks? Any suggestions? My car is a 200K FL w/o sport package.
