My 200 failed its NCT because of rust on the subframe. It was on the passenger side rear corner on the welds and when the bloke doing the repair tapped along the frame it revealed more rust. Have it all welded up now but it seems to be a design fault. There is a drain hole in the subframe corner where the rust was but it appears that instead of drilling the hole it was punched upwards with the result that a small rim was formed around the hole. This meant that water was trapped inside the frame and rusted it from the inside.
A ball joint on the front passenger side tracking arm ( I think ) was loose again because of water ingress.
Just a heads up for anyone getting their car tested
