Rubber trim buttons in door sill

I noticed one of these was missing the other day. I could probably get one at a dealer but perhaps they are available on the net. I tried finding them on parts drawings, but no dice. Any ideas?

That part is called the rail and I really don't recall any of those buttons being oem (some member can verify). if it is, epc shows no buttons on it. so maybe they bought the rail or those buttons 3rd party?
see pic. they sometimes leave things out of the drawings but I had a 320 and it never had those buttons. other members?

Yes, I know for sure the 230s do and I think the 320 does as well.
well it has been 14 years since my 320 :D I stand corrected but I think op would still have to buy the whole rail.

They're original, but they're not actually seperate buttons, but a strip, or at least they are on the facelift models (the ones with SLK or V6 in the middle) , the best idea might be to pick up a whole sill off eBay or from a breakers and then you'd have plenty of spares..

Merci, Gentlemen.

I think I now have enough information to continue my quest.
Years ago I was missing some buttons and had to order the whole rail. I don't remember the price.
I've got a 3d printer coming sometime soon, hopefully... (I backed it on Kickstarter early last year, so....fingers still crossed.) This would be a good first project when (and if) it comes.

Any 3d printer guys out there? Is there a printable plastic with rubber qualities?

So yes there are printer plastic with rubber qualities but it can be difficult to get to print and may be too rubbery.

S'ok......I already have a design in mind that would be suitable for harder plastic, if necessary.

Not sure if he'll post to you, or if it'll be worth it after shipping compared to getting an entire one from a breakers etc, but I found this :

Hi Guys,

Also my 230K is missing some of the buttons.
I found a very reasonably priced alternative at Mercedes SLK R170 kick plate buttons (54) | eBay or SLK parts
20 Euro plus shipping for 54
