hello.
my car mercedes r172 ( slk300) yers 2016.
I bought the car two months ago
I noticed I had rubber creaking noises from the roof
When I am driving and there is movement in the vehicle (bumpy roads or deceleration lanes)
I hear a rubber noise touching the rubber and making an annoying noise
I'm sure the noise is coming from the roof

What can you suggest I do to resolve the noises?

Assuming it is the roof, you need to Gummi Pfege all the seals:

It is also worth, to rule it out, just moving the seat back forwards very slightly as the plastic strakes on the back of the seat will squeak when resting on the bulkhead carpet

The noise comes 100% from the roof rubbers.
All plastic parts are perfectly connected and there are no plastic noises. The noises are just moving rubber noises
I have now ordered 2 bottles from AMAZON
I know the plastic noise of the chairs.
I always leave a space between the 2 seats to avoid noise.

Until gummi come to me (it should reach me until January 21)
Do you think silicone spray can solve this problem?
Or is it better not to use?

CANNOT use anything on the rubber that contains petroleum
by-products. Read the label but I would guess NO.

Very few products in that category do NOT contain p.b. so be careful. Just wait for your parcel to arrive.

the foam tops will last maybe 3 applications so:

1)clean the seals first then
2)I just tab on and wipe with a lint free rag.

Just bought some of the nextzett Gummi Pfledge. I take it, its best to apply on a sunny day? Is it best to leave the top up half way for a while for it to dry, before putting it completely down?

Wait for the Gummi mate, even silicon can damage some rubbers.

The Gummi will last you years. I do my seals every few months and it’s great for 1. Restoring the seals and 2. Reducing all squeaks.

If the squeaking is really annoying and the Gummi Pflege is going to take a while to reach you you can always wipe over the seals with a little soapy water on a cloth as a temporary measure. Just clean it off before using the Gummi Plege.

Yep, been there...had that...Gummi Pfege the rubber seals...
I dropped the top, did the seal on the top edge of the windshield, then opened the trunk and did the back edge of the roof...it should help with the creaking...and make sure your seatback isn't touching the aft wall of the compartment that makes that same sound...

The noise is less, but I still have noises

It can do no harm and may just get to where the squeak is coming from.
Have you done all the door rubbers [they are pretty much all around the door and aperture] and also all the rubber in the boot/trunk?

Also treat the seals around the boot lid & polish around the moving edges of rear parcel shelf, Noise travels.
