I have a 98 slk 230 and the roof actuators were leaking so i sent them to Top Hydraulics and had them repaired. After i reinstalled them i cant get the trunk to close after the roof goes in the trunk. If i turn the key off then i can push the trunk forward and wait then turn the car back on i can get the trunk to lock down. if i close the top using the button it will stop just short of rolling the back windows up, if i turn the car off and push the trunk closed then i can turn the car back on and the rear windows will close.
thanks for any advice

roof problem solved

Thi problem was the switch came loose that is near the head rest on the passenger side. It was the one that told the system that the roof was all the way in the trunk so the trunk would pivot forward and close.
Thanks for all the help, you guys are awsome.:)
