I recently had the opportunity to purchase an ultra low mileage 2018 SLC 300. Mileage was only 959 when I picked the car up from the private party selling it. This 05/25/2019.

My question is, what is the reliability of the SLC 300 models. I am impressed with the paint finish, the fit and finish of the body parts, engine performance for 2.0L.

Are there any reliability issues that you have experienced or had issues with.

So far I am quite impressed with the SLC300.

Thanks for any input.

Can't speak for the SLC300 in particular, but the only issue I had with my SLC43 in the last three years was a leaky hydraulic strut in the trunk. It was replaced under warranty. This is my third SLK/SLC and have been among the most reliable cars I have owned in some 40 years.

SLC 300 has a motor that is known to be very reliable. MB uses it every where including commercial vehicle. Your 4 cylinder engine may not be the most spirited but certainly is very reliable. I think it even won Wards' best top 10 engine award.

Performance to date has met my expectations. Just wish the SLC 300 had a nicer sounding exhaust note.
