We have a local company who do a total refurb on alloys. I've seen the before and after results up close in the flesh and they return them looking like new.

It's a proper job, complete wheel inside and out, tyres are taken off, wheels sandblasted, filled, primed, and finished in original MB paint. Wheels balanced when complete, and they put replacement wheels on your car after removing your own so you can still use it during the three day turnaround.

I've never been happy with ours, and couldn't replace the wheels for this price so I'm going for it.

Guy wanted £264 inc VAT but I told him I'd pay cash at £55 a wheel - he agreed.

Decent price?

I think so

I was having a good look at our wheels today.
Not bad for an 11 year old car, but could be better.

I was thinking of getting them sorted during the winter lay up, or early spring.

It'll be good to see how yours turn out. Warwick isn't too far, and having a set of 'loaners' whilst it's in would make it workable if we can't find someone we're happy with locally.

Cheers.
