Back at the beginning of this thread I used Chlorine dioxide treatment 'Airvidox' which did reduce the smell. After a second treatment I thought it was gone, but it came back once the smell of the Airvidox disappeared. I haven't found a 'bomb' that isn't unscented and got the impression that it would just be something that tries to 'mask' the smell rather than kill it. I'm really averse to strong smells of car air fresheners, so it's not something I wanted to try.Have you tried a deodoriser bomb? I believe they are available unscented.
A combination of Meguiars DA microfibre pads and compound, followed by a refining stage with Menzerna polish and various hex pads.Hi there, can you tell me how you managed to remove swirls on a red car, did you engine compartment work out ok, thanks
I've tried Febreze, but it just masked the smell for a bit and it's not a smell I particularly like.Get some Febreze and spray it on all appropriate surfaces.
