R171 Rear Subframe

Hi
Has anyone had trouble with rust on a rear subframe?
I know that they suffer surface rust, but holes!
Anyone experienced this?

Yes My son's 350 just failed the MOT with rust on the subframe!, MB quoted 2.5 K and 8 hours work.
Cost to us £118 for a good used delivered, I just have to swap it next week.

Same here - just failed NCT. I'll post photos later. Rust, holes ,you name it.

I'll looking for rear subframe for R171, new or used, located in the island of Ireland.
