I have a blown right front speaker in my SLK350. Any idea on where I can get a replacement in the US. I have tried to order a replacement (A171 820 03 02) from a couple of online shops however they cancel and tell me the part is unavailable.

Thanks,
A

See if it is available from the dealer.
If they say 'No' you'll have a hunt on your hands.

One thing worth knowing, some parts are 'shared' across the range.

So, it might not be available for an SLK, but just might be on
SL, C class etc.

Not many parts get made for just one model. Not cost effective.

Failing that, look for a breakers.
See if an ICE shop can fix.

I found a base model replacement passenger door speaker via mercedespartshub dot com, a Daytona Beach dealer, though the part was shipped from the big Benz distribution center in Charlotte (I believe ...). Part No. A 171 820 02 02 R. Other option may be via junkyards inventory website, through which I found wheels off a wrecked SLK outside Nashville. Good luck!

If it's any help, I replaced the front and the two rear outer speakers with these.. Monacor SPH-30X/4 3 inch 4 ohm Kevlar Cone full range driver. Huge improvement over originals and no impedance compatibility problems. Incidentally, my original front dash speaker had actually melted. The glued magnet assembly had separated from the coil!
