I'd rather a cubby, I find the cup holder completely useless. Its way too high up to easily reach for a drink, and a hot drink mists up the windscreen!

Cup holders should be where your hand naturally rests, and out of the way of the driver controls/view. Best place is in the central console between the seats.

So, no hot drinks for me if I'm on my own, and cold drinks go in a reused water bottle in the door pocket.

If anyone in the EU fancies swapping their cubby for my wonderful perfect fully functioning only-used-once cup holder, then drop me a PM! Postage further afield might be prohibitative.
