Hi everybody! Recently bought 1998. SLK and i love it, less than 80 k miles and in pretty good condition. It is not a kompressor and i was wondering if there is a way to add some modifications in order to increase at least 20 hp. Currently its at 135 hp and i would love to add some power to it.

Thanks!

You can increase more than that, depending on how deep your pocket is.
I doubt there's anything you could do for cheaply that gives you 20 tho.

Thanks for the reply. Well, i searched the net, but was not able to find much info. Every thread was talking about modding 230K, can't find info about the "regular" 200. I m willing to spend up to $2 k, but i am not even sure what the possibilities are. I know that chip tuning is possible for 230k, is it the case with 200?
