It seems the Values of SLK's are still REALLY strong. Granted, it seems like the higher value ones are low mileage, but for a 15+ year old car, low miles doesn't mean "problem free".

These are the ones for sale in my area right now. based on the first one, my '430 6 speed should be worth 25K! (except mine doesn't have that slick AMG badge... :( )

what's this? a cheap one?? no title = just burn it to the ground... no one wants to deal with that.

Well the last one has "title status: missing" and no Floridian wants to deal with that. Slightly better are "rebuilt" or "salvage" titles.

In central Florida R170s are mostly in the $3000-$5000 range for nice 100k mile cars, mostly automatics - some manual trans. For about the same price you can get a '04-'07 Crossfire which is a SLK320 under the skin.
