I'VE been looking for a code list like this one THANKS MUCH . I have been tring to fine out how many YELLOW SLK 320 was made in 2001 so for no way of knowing but i've never seen or heard of any lots of 280s no 320s

Bill - if you find a source for the number of yellow SLK's produced, let me know. I'd like to know how many were produced each year, but particularly in 2003.

Folks wonder what the description of the control (option) codes on their data card represents. The attached PDF gives a description for the codes. If you do not have the data card, you can use this web site to obtain the codes.

there used to be an russian MB site where you could enter your vin number and it would give you all the options your MB had.
its gone now.

I have similar problem determining the number of red '04 SLK32 AMG's. I did find here there were 312 sold in US and 260 currently registered. You can find some percentages of a given color, but not a number.

 

In what case do we need to know our car code?

Code Resetting Maxidiag EU702

Got a code reader resetter. I wanted to reset all the faults and start over. It comes up with a message saying this will delete the DTC codes and Freeze Data, do you wish to continue. I'm not sure if this is a wise move, can anyone help please ? :nerd:

I would think that clearing them would get you back to ground 0
