I'm with JohnB... the dealer will just send it to "their" body shop (a lot don't even have in house people anymore...). In the mean time, clean the back side thoroughly (and gently), dry, then apply good old duct tape (lining up the two pieces).
Word of advice. Park well back from ANY curb, parking block - remember the SLK is a good 3ft shorter than just about any car, so you won't be sticking out!
PS you'd be hard pressed to find an SLK owner that hasn't scuffed his/her nose!
