Hi all,

I am now the proud owner of a 2008 slk200 with sport pack and ntg2.5 and linguatronic. Full MB service history 52k miles. Dark grey with leather seats and red stitching to the seats and gear stick cover, and red seat belts. A lovely dark metallic grey colour, has the new split led turn indicator mirrors and split front spoiler.

I have been searching for the right car for months and after reading all the reports on the v6 engine decided to settle for the 200 and not my intended SL350 as I was really hoping to get. I have just also purchase a years warranty with MB at a better price based on items covered, than other mainstream warranty companies. So the mobilo life, or roadside assistance is still in force due to its MB service history.

I have been searching these forums ever since I started looking for the Merc and want to give a big thumbs up to all those who contribute in answering other members queries... Keep up the good work and hope I may be able to assist someone too one day.

Mike...

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

The z4 is actually my partners car that she chose, but we will share both i guess... The z4 is a solid car and also has a full bmw service history
and for a 10 yr old car it is as solid as the slk to drive. She drove mine the other day and said it feels more solid than hers, Mine just has more toys
for us guys to play with. The z4 is more basic but still a pleasure to drive.
