I am trying to understand the MAF and MAP outputs on a post-facelift 230. On the pre-facelift model (has no MAP) when the MAF output hits 5.0V the ECU will cause a limp mode.

I measured the MAF output of my post-facelift at 5.27V without going into limp mode. The MAP output measured around 3.0V max, no matter how hard I accelerated.

Can anyone help me understand how these two signals are used, especially in the determination of limp mode?
