My drivers door has dropped slightly and I want to replace the hinges.
I`ve looked on-line for some time without success.
This is what I need.

I hope all are well,
Regards,
Martyn

Thanks Jon

I saw this but I wasn`t sure if it would fit. I`ve sent a question asking same. It`s a spares company so they may be able to help.
I will probably have to renew top and bottom.
Thanks again, I`ll get back when I`ve resolved the issue.
Have a good weekend.

I think you should find them if you keep searching. Whats the price like for new ones ?

The other way is to find a small friendly engineering guy who would bore out the hinge and fit bronze bushes. My Father in law did that for me many years ago on an old ford anglia.

I assume there isnt any adjustment to can do to take up the slack by moving the top hinge in a touch ?

Good point

Good point Jon. I`ll have a look and see if there is anything I can do myself, although I`m not sure I have a "star socket".
I`ll get back later.

I wouldn't buy a second hand one, is probably just as likely to be worn out too.

Here is the part number A 2107200037. Send a request to Inchcape - one of the cheaper on-line MB spares companies and see what price they give you. Price is about £35.00. If you use the discount code 'pothole' you'll get 10% off.

All done..............it does adjust.
I undid the bolts on the door itself put a trolley jack and a block of wood under the end of the door and after 3-4 attempts it lined up and shuts perfectly.
Thanks everyone for their input.
Have a good bank holiday.

Martyn
