Don's thread link is above. 30K i believe
I have talked to him, it's 30k.I don't know how much Don is asking but you will know the ride you are getting.
Have yu contacted him??
I called Racerstev directly. We need a mutual solution on how funds can be transferred if this were to happen, me being in HI and him in PA. I was thinking an escrow service, but we don't have banks that have branches in both states, plus we both never used an escrow company for vehicle sales, so he wasn't comfortable with the idea. He wanted a wire or cashier's check, which is understandable but I wasn't comfortable with that.Racerstev was on before... did u send him a convo?
Hi all, funds for me is really black and white. If the car and title leave me i need to have cash or a certified check made at a bank in my presence. I know i’m old school but that’s the only way i can move forward.I called Racerstev directly. I do have a coworker that lives 10 minutes away from Racerstev, but if it's going to take a month for the car to be shipped to HI, I don't know how that's going to work........like when does my coworker hand over the check, for example.
Currently unsure how to proceed.
Yup, understood, I'll think over what I want to do. Thanks.Hi all, funds for me is really black and white. If the car and title leave me i need to have cash or a certified check made at a bank in my presence. I know i’m old school but that’s the only way i can move forward.
if your coworker is going to check the car out, drive it to be shipped. I would think he would be trusted to hand me the funds as well.
i wish i could be more flexable but this is the world we live in.

How ironic! I contacted this dealership before it was detailed and the bumper needed paint fixing. It was owned by a doctor in Palm Springs per the sales guy. Always serviced by MB dealer and a single owner. Not a bad price as there are only 2 Red SLK55 AMG's for sale in the country.I used Lemon Squad because there were no shops near by that didn't have a 2 week wait period...But to my untrained eyes, they seem to have done a thorough job.

Pictures that the mechanic took are here 2006 SLK 55 - Google Drive
Dealership is asking $22,000, should I go ask them to fix some of the items and/or lower price?
Thanks!

Yup this is the one! Were you just browsing around or actually shopping for one?How ironic! I contacted this dealership before it was detailed and the bumper needed paint fixing. The SLK55 AMG in red has been on my bucket list for years. When I saw this one from my saved searches I called the dealership to get the Carfax etc. The interior isn't my cup of tea and the used car guy started playing games that he has others coming to look at it and I should come see it. Palm Springs is a few hours drive from me and decided it wasn't the car for me.Yup this is the one! Were you just browsing around or actually shopping for one?
what is ecp access? Not sure but possibly those with ecp access may be able to get the history.
he means epcwhat is ecp access?
It has been listed for a while where you would think you offer is fair.I asked the dealership to reduce the price by $500 and it's a deal!
Congratulations...that's fantastic!I asked the dealership to reduce the price by $500 and it's a deal!
