Hi I thought this might be useful if anyone is thinking of changing or cleaning their PCV valve on an R170. Most of the websites I have visited say you need to remove the intake manifold to get at the PCV valve and the attached pipes. I changed mine today in 10 mins without removing anything. It is useful if you have small hands, I got my 20 year old son to do the fiddly bits. You can reach under the back of the intake manifold to release and replace the rear pipe into the cylinder head and under the front of it to remove replace the front pipe and the larger bottom pipe just under the MAP sensor. It is awkward but it certainly saved me some time. Hope this helps someone. I have some pics if they are of any use. Martin
