Anyone know the part number for this little "trunk pad" or whatever it's called?
It's on the R170's trunk, rear upper portion. It looks like it touches a pair of pads on the lid when it is closed.



Seems to be different orientations for left and right.
This is what it looks like removed from left side



Mine needs replacement as the rubber casing has come apart and fallen off. The part itself has no part number on it. I have looked on part diagrams but unable to tell for sure which one it is... the best I can tell is maybe #7 in the diagram, which is described as "Trim Panel Retainer"

:eek:fftopic: Had a little giggle to myself when I saw the OP. In the UK 'trunks' are what you wear to go swimming ! (sorry...carry on and pretend I'm not here. I'll fetch me coat)

I think it is called a stop part 140

part number in pdf. this is from a 230 since i did not have your vin

$11 each... not bad but not cheap considering what they are.
