I spent a week there last year. Took the Jeep and drove the beach north in search of wild horses. Did theAlligator River National Wildlife Refuge Kayak Tour. Loved getting close to nature. I stayed at the Travelodge in Kill Devil Hills. Clean and inexpensive, across the street from the beach. http://www.outerbanks.org/faqs/index.asp is a good start. Try The Flying Fish Cafe, fine dining but casual with excellent wine list.
Remember your in the South.
We might move slow and talk slow but we're not dumb.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated......thnaks all!
For the Nurburgring in June , but this time we've managed to book when the Grand Prix track is also open to the public which is a rarity , but the novelty of having both the gp track and the old Nurburgring open should make things even more interesting than usual !
I'm surprised no one on here...
Is anyone attending Germanpalooza in Portland on Aug 3. It's german car only car show and the 2nd year. I'm considering it.
I'm surprised that nobody appears to have organised a trip to the Isle of Man for SLK Owners. After all, if using the motorbike TT course there is no speed limit over the mountain so you could really open up and see what speed your beloved car can do plus of course there is lots of history and...
