Hello,
I bought the new oil filter parts ( filter and o-rings), but I can not figure out how to disassemble the oil filter.
I tried using the search tool, but it didn't show how to disassemble the oil filter.
Can somebody post me a link .
Thank you in advance,

Grab the filter and tap the bottom of the post on a table. It will slide off eventually. The next issue is to make sure that the new one is on far enough. Here's a couple of pics to help.

Congratulation on changing your own oil. These cars really are a joy to work on.

Best Wishes

Thank you for the help.
Duh!!! it was as simple as pulling it out.
Now, I am going to finish changing the oil... Thank you again to everybody!
Uh, just how did you get the old oil out? Did you use a vac or did you raise the car and use the drain plug? If you raised the car, did you "just" drive it up on ramps, then remove the drain plug? IF you did this, you left at least 1 qt of oil in the pan.

Enjoy.
