This 1980 Lola T540 chassis was originally a Formula Ford racer before being reconfigured in 1983 by driver Craig Mendenhall, who went on to campaign it in SCCA D Sports Racing. The car was purchased by Beasley Racing in 1999 and converted to a Beasely B-2 prototype for former D Sports Racing national champion Al Beasley Sr. The seller acquired it in 2003 and installed a 998cc Honda CBR1000RR inline-four and 6-speed manual gearbox. Further additions include bodywork from Lincspeed Design, a Quaife limited-slip differential, a Mocal oil cooler, a Davies Craig electric water pump, a Fluidyne radiator, Hypercoil springs, front and rear adjustable sway bars, a halon fire suppression system, an FIA-rated Fuel Safe fuel cell, and more. This Lola is offered with an SCCA logbook, a rolling car stand, spare parts, and a California bill of sale.
