So I spent the better part of Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning rebuilding the roof lock and top hydraulic cylinders. Thanks to the great help from slk world and Benz world it was pretty straight forward. Thanks to all who contributed. I cycled it up and down several times without issue. The insignificant other and I went for a long Sunday drive and enjoyed some awesome topless cruising on an awesome summer day.

When I got out of work today I attempted to put the top down. Nothing. When I got home I took a closer look and discovered a hydraulic line sticking up out of the right trunk side cover. It had obviously got caught on the roof mechanism while it was going up and down.

Grrrr....

Ouch... Sorry to hear about your troubles. I remember there is a website that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders and when sending your cylinders you actually Need to cut the lines!
Then they rebuild it and provide you with special connectors which you install yourself.
I can't remember the name oor the link on top of my head but hopefully some of the members will chime in. Then you can ask seller if you can buy these connectors from him separately :)
I know there's http://www.tophydraulicsinc.com/en/
You can try these guys :)

Edit:
Here you go! Google helps :)
