Hi guys, just a quick hello. I am in the process of buying a 2010 200k, its quite a basic spec model but i think it will suit my needs just now. Im trading in my Range Rover Sport for it to free up some cash and have a cheaper car to run. Before i had the Range Rover i had a new shape Z4 an Cayman S and before that i had a SL55. Im hoping the 200K will give me 80% of the SLs comfort, 80% of the Caymans fun factor, 100% of the BMWs "look at me " factor and 200% of the RRS running costs. Will i be disappointed? Oh and i should of said..im in the UK....So the steering wheel is on the correct side >:D

Not far from me...Junc 26 M1
Yes, not far at all... I used to live near J28 M1, but that was over 15 years ago now. I'm now 10mins from J21.
@PetenLissa are planning another meet for SLK owners on Saturday 18th October at the Manor Farm Shop, Catthorpe, LE17 6DB... it would be great to see you there, if you're available.

FYI, here's a link to the thread from Pete & Lissa about this meet:

Hi huntert, a warm welcome from Southern Arizona. Congratulations on your new ride. I haven't owned any of the vehicles you've mentioned, however, from what I gather from the folks on this forum your analysis will be 100% accurate. Enjoy the people, the forum, and top down cruisin'.
