Hi Guys, just found this site by accident . looks awesome :hail:

i am currently driving a bmw 320i but am collecting my dream car : slk 200 tmrow from the dealer. Got a calcite white with gullwing red seats.
its my dream car but was not an easy decision to make with the monthly installments. well...u only live once i guess

Anyone own a white slk...is it really that much harder to maintain ?

i got a 2009 Slk 200 , calcite white with gullwing red seats .

Welcome Grendel72. I think white is easier to keep clean over black, in terms of keeping the finish looking clean and free of dust.

I agree with Etyu. I have always found white cars to be the easiest to maintain. Black cars on the other hand.... :S.

You have to really love black to own and maintain the finish.

White v black

White might be easier to maintain but throw some Zaino on there and a black car can really look as good as it should and if it doesn't just give it a rinse with water and a wipe down and it's back to shine.
