Hello people, Lissa directed me here...

My name is Ed, I have bought a 2007 350. She is called Kay. She has done all of 21K miles, and the condition reflects that... she was a millionaire's summer toy. Pic attached. The car has loads of bells and whistles, I've no idea which were standard, so I'm sorry if I'm saying the bleedin' obvious, it has an airscarf (very nice), tiptronic box, I think the lights (xenon) swivel with the wheel (or am I imagining things?), 18 inch alloys, and Harmon Kardon sound.

I bought the car because I have always liked them. I love the V6 sound, especially under the railway bridges in Shrewsbury. Vroom, vrooom.....

Wife and I would like to attend the Cheshire lunch on 18 May but we can't as it's our daughter's 18th that day. So, next time!!!

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

Ed! Hello!

Good to see you here. You'll find it a really friendly forum, with some very knowledgeable people.

Hopefully we'll be able to meet up at an event some time...be a bit of a change being on four wheels instead of two!

Hi Ed,

Welcome from the Wirral.

The midweek lunch is an experiment on whether midweek would work, or not.

There'll be a weekend one for Cheshire later in the date TBA.

Good news is that the Midlands isn't far from you and the socialise big time and are very friendly.

We're looking at joining the Ironworks Museum, Oswestry show at some point.
Just up the road from you and wide variety of cars.

Naturally, the SLKs will likely be the biggest bunch ;)

Look forward to meeting you at some point.
