Hi All,

I am a new owner of a 2006 SLK200 kompressor R171 with the factory sport pack. Very nice car, fully serviced and runs smoothly.

As a new owner, I'd be happy for any suggestions, things to look out for and general maintenance advice. If anyone has any particular hints in maintaining the roof seals and any drain points, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if you have any leather care advice, mainly for steering wheel. I have read posts regarding window height adjustment previously. Seems quite involved process; is the effort likely to bare any fruit?

Cheers.

Hi and welcome to SLKWorld.com from the UK Midlands - Thanks for joining us! :)

Where are you based in the UK?... We have quite a few members in the UK that like to meet up from time to time. If you're interested in joining us sometime, just keep an eye on the UK Region section, as we post meeting plans there! :tu:

Lubricating the seals has already been covered, and you might find the following useful for drain points:
