I hope I'm doing this in the right place....
Hi everyone, my name is Martin and I'm new to this community. I now own a 1998 230 SLK which appears to be a lot of fun. My last Merc was in Wales when I owed a 200T 7 seater wagon. Great car, drove like a boat, made out of granite, as persistent as a diesel train and as slow as ...... well any other big car with an under powered 2L motor.
I am a pastor of a Church in BC and I usually stick with British old timers (I've also got a '76 Spitfire) but I am really enjoying the SLK. I have to constantly tell everyone that I'm not being paid to much ad the car was a real bargain!
I look forward to a long and happy relationship with my SLK and hope to make lots of contacts with this community. Thanks, Martin
