Hi all.

Been reading and following the site for a while now, both for general guides and help. So, I figured it's time I should join. I've got a low mileage 2012/r172 SLK 350, UK spec. It's got some interesting order specs from the first owner( I'm the second), such as a factory/dealer debadge, the carbon spoiler, and almost every option except parktronic - Which seems an odd thing to leave out to me. The car generally is in phenomenal condition, but has some wear issues I'm dealing with (I've started another thread for two of them). I'm in a few clubs here in the UK, so like my other car, It's very much a driven not hidden car, meaning its likely to see a ton of road trips in the very near future. Thanks for having another fire Opel SLK on here :)

You can help with these issues here please:

Welcome from North Hampshire - Great looking SLK (y)
To find a high spec R172/350 is very lucky, as it was in some cases cheaper to lease a R172/55 if two many option boxes where ticked on lower models... So only a cash buying first owner would order such a car - The reason for the missing Parktronic option may be due to the them owning a R171 with Parktronic & having issues with it..?

Decided to update my centre caps. The old ones were delaminated to hell, and also blue which I wasn't a fan of.

I went with CF mercedes star as a replacement. Given how absurdly easy and cheap this change was to do, I might change these again if I feel they don't work, or even have multiple sets as required.

That leaves only one last thing to fix cosmetically, and the car will look virtually new.

NICE
Try aliexpress.com
Very inexpensive but shipping time is a bit long
Have bought many items from them, now mechanical / essential cosmetic items
Good deals on cf badges and floor mats are a couple of items
