I am a new SLK owner. I just bought the car in September and have been working my way through the various issues with it. I'm able to drive it using temporary tag till i can figure out why the emissions indicators will not complete. Been enjoying the forum and pass on a thank you to all of the past contributors - the information has been super. I have a 2003 230 SLK and the paint color is black and it is a automatic. It runs and except for the idle dropping to 500 rpm or close to it and the vibration within the car, i think it is going to be a good car for me. I suspect motor and transmission mounts are in my near future. The car has 120,000 miles on it. Been hunting vacuum leaks for idle issue. So far it has been an enjoyable repair journey.
