For a couple of years I've wanteda roadster to make small trips in Belgium and our neigboring countries (France, the Netherlands, Germany, UK). Since a couple of weeks I was able convince the wife to go along with it, and next weekend we are going to pick up a 2005 SLK 200 in Germany.
Using the VIN code I was able to get the "factory data" of the car, but no accident or service history. I already bought a report with vin-info.com, but these sections remained empty. Any suggestions?
To be complete, professionally I'm driving a MB E300 hybrid (2012) and my wife has a C200 (2011).
Keep on the good work with this wonderful site!

• Shorty antenna
• LED license plate bulbs & parking lights
• Chrome indicator bulbs (still flash orange, but removes the ‘fried egg’ look from your headlight housings)
• OEM windscreen or Lighted/etched windscreen

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
• Post your VIN (or VIN of a car you're looking at) in the Vehicle Datacard Request section to get a free datacard (options on the car).

I'm afraid I can't help with advice on accident history, perhaps a more local member from Belgium will add some advice here for you soon. Have you tried contacting your local MB dealer to discuss the service history? You may have to prove to them that you own the car, and it may only be partial history, but might still be useful). :)
