hey, gf got a 1998 slk230,got a good deal on it so there has to be some problems. the fuel gauge needle jumps to the other side and stays there. somebody recommended me to add techron addictives to clean it up, i will try that but are there any other possible solutions.

another problem is that the hard top roof seems to have grease or oil leaking on the front that is causing the material to strivel up, is there a way to clean this or prevent this from happening.

last, where is the cheapest replacement for the 3rd led strip brake light.

any help or advice thanks!!!

Welcome.

As far as gas gauge...I don't know.:(

Hydrolic seal leak ... this guy on Ebay sells a kit to fix it and has great step by step instructions. I bought one just in case this ever happens to me.

3rd brake light Lens? or Bulb? Try the SLK Store link at top of this site or PM admin here to see if they can get it for you.:)

Enjoy your car!
